Our client is a leading travel agency, and the ideal candidate for this IT Systems & Network Specialist is having a strong background in hands-on experience in server administration and IT network support, including configuration and management of firewalls, routers, and core switches.  

Head office is located in Kuala Lumpur, fully onsite basis.

Job Responsibilities

• Experienced in configuring and supporting Windows Server environments.
  Skilled in troubleshooting and optimizing firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless access points for network efficiency and security.
• Capable of maintaining network equipment and ensuring firmware is regularly updated.
• Proficient in supporting Microsoft 365 tools including Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint, with added value from Azure and AWS cloud experience.
• Able to provide end-user, device, and software support, including remote assistance across regional offices, with knowledge of SD-WAN technology.

Job Requirements

• Possess a diploma or degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or IT (Hardware), with 3–5 years of experience in server and IT networking support.
• Skilled in configuring firewalls, routers, and core switches, with strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Palo Alto Firewall, and routing protocols.
• Preferably certified in CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or CompTIA Network & Security.
  Familiar with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, and capable of providing remote support across regional countries.
• Demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration, with readiness to travel within Asia Pacific.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with Chinese as an added advantage.
