A） Summary
Roche Diagnostics Japan is seeking a highly motivated Procurement specialist to
manage key activities of the Japanese business. This role is key to build the overall
procurement strategy and drive an efficient cost effective and compliant
organization. The right candidate will be an energetic proactive individual with strong
communication skills able to build bridges between the different functions.

B） Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement Management:
● Lead procurement initiatives to meet business needs in accordance with
local Procurement SOPs. Influence vision through optimization plan and
relationship building.
● Supplier Relationship amp; Risk Management: Evaluate and engage potential
suppliers for long term partnerships proactively identify and provide alternate
sources to minimize supply risk and ensure continuous monitoring and
improvement of vendor performance.
● Cost Optimization amp; Compliance: Continuously seek more economical
and/or alternate sources of supply without compromising quality.
● Measure and report on Key Performance Indicators （KPIs） lead
continuous improvement initiatives and continuously enhance service levels.
● Operational Liaison amp; Administration: Collaborate closely with the Shared
Service Center （RSS） for seamless procurement operations including
accurate vendor onboarding purchase order creation and payment
clearance.
● Collaborate with the global procurement department to drive and execute
procurement initiatives （global contract system implementation）.
2. General Responsibilities:
● Actively prioritize negotiations and tasks to ensure effective resource
utilization for the company. Demonstrate high communication skills and be a
catalyst of Roche culture.
● Proactive and agile with high energy able to drive team efforts streamline
work operations and build efficient communication with other departments.
● Ensure consistency of Japan local strategy with Roche global direction:
Liaise with global teams to communicate Japan challenges and find solutions.
Bridge global Roche strategy with local operations.

1. 調達管理： ●ローカルの調達 SOP
に従って、ビジネスニーズを満たす調達イニシアチブを主導します。最適化計画と関係構築を通じてビジョンに影響を与えます。● サプライヤー関係およびリスク管理：長期的なパートナーシップの可能性のあるサプライヤーを評価および契約し、供給リスクを最小限に抑えるために積極的に代替ソースを特定して提供し、ベンダーのパフォーマンスの継続的な監視と改善を確実にします。● コストの最適化とコンプライアンス：品質を損なうことなく、より経済的または代替の供給元を継続的に探します。● 主要業績評価指標 （KPI） を測定して報告し、継続的な改善イニシアチブを主導し、サービスレベルを継続的に向上させます。●業務連絡および管理：正確なベンダーオンボーディング、注文書の作成、支払い決済などのシームレスな調達業務のために、シェアードサービスセンター （RSS）と緊密に連携します。●

● University Degree （Bachelor or Masters）.
● Previous experience （at least 5 years） in a similar role.
● Native Level of Japanese and business level of English.

2. Skills:
● High energy level driven by positive enthusiasm and a pragmatic
approach.
● Ability to influence team dynamics and drive a positive highly
communicative environment.
● Team player focused on common goals.
● Solid understanding of procurement practices standards and guidelines.
Medical equipment knowledge is an advantage not a must.
● Ability to multi tasking and workload prioritization.
● Strong negotiation skills. Ability to build trust and effective relationships
with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

1. ロシュと同規模（社員500名以上）の企業での5年以上の間接購買経験
2. 日本語ネイティブレベル、ビジネスレベルの英語力
3. 勤務地：品川オフィスを拠点とし、業務状況に応じて出社
