PR/159351 | SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER (BANKING)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: -

• Oversee all financial accounting, reporting, risk reporting, and taxation matters to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Identify, assess, and manage financial and BASEL-related risks in daily operations, while ensuring adherence to internal and external policies and procedures.

• Lead the Finance Department, including organizational structure, staffing, performance management, and development of team members.

• Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and support continuous improvement in financial processes and controls.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: -

• Degree in finance or business-related fields, with a professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or MICPA.

• At least 10 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably with a background in banking (accounting, tax reporting) or Big 4, and experience leading teams of 10 or more.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage departmental operations and effectively communicate and negotiate across functions.

• Proficiency in IFRS/MFRS standards, Malaysian accounting and tax regulations, and experience with e-invoicing is highly desirable.
