• Develop, review, and maintain HACCP & ISO plans, HALAL documentation, and quality procedures.
• Coordinate internal & external audits, supplier audits, and readiness for third-party or regulatory inspections (e.g., HALAL, MeSTI, FSSC).
• Conduct quality checks, hygiene inspections, and monitor CCPs (Critical Control Points) on the production floor.
• Investigate non-conformities and customer complaints, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure traceability, record-keeping, and compliance with documentation requirements.
• Liaise with certification bodies, JAKIM (for HALAL matters), and relevant authorities.
• Provide training and guidance to production and QA staff on food safety and quality practices.
• Prepare quality-related reports, audit summaries, and improvement proposals.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Food Science, Biotechnology, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of QA experience in the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong working knowledge of HACCP and HALAL requirements (preferably with exposure to JAKIM audits).
• Familiar with GMP, ISO 22000/FSSC 22000, and other food safety systems.
• Experience handling audits and documentation independently.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and QA documentation systems.
• Able to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision.
