About the Role

You will lead electrical design, grid coordination, and technical execution across utility-scale renewable energy projects, working closely with stakeholders such as utilities, EPCs, and regulatory bodies.

Must-Have Requirements

  • Native-level Japanese and business-level English 

  • 4+ years of engineering experience, including 3+ years in Japan’s electric power sector

  • Solid experience in:

  • Grid and substation design, grid interconnection applications

  • Extra-high, high, and medium voltage systems

  • Electrical design and EPC execution

  • SCADA/EMS systems and utility coordination

Preferred / Good to Have

  • Experience with:

  • Offshore wind or large-scale BESS integration

  • Harmonic analysis, EMS/SCADA architecture

  • Commissioning, inspection, and site-based technical supervision

  • Electrical/Renewable energy certifications

Ideal Profile

 • Engineering professionals with a track record in EPC or IPP environments

  • Experience handling utility and government relationships (e.g., METI)
