Our client, a leading provider of computing technologies MNC is looking for Material Director as a crucial leadership role in managing the sourcing, procurement, inventory, and distribution of materials within global organization. 

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure the integrity of global material data across internal systems and external supplier networks.
• Drive annual revenue targets by securing supply continuity and managing strategic inventory levels.
• Lead and optimize materials-related business processes, including ERP integration and supplier collaboration workflows.
• Oversee the global rework process, coordinating execution across multiple departments and functions.
• Support the global purchasing organization by enabling supply assurance through dedicated teams.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development for managers and individual contributors within the materials function.
• Establish and enforce policies and standards for effective material management practices.
• Manage the global performance measurement system for material operations.
• Own the strategic inventory framework to support revenue goals and minimize financial exposure.
• Administer the operational processes for supplier collaboration tools.
• Contribute to sourcing decisions by providing materials-related insights and analysis.
• Act as a liaison between materials management and procurement commodity teams to align on strategic initiatives and ensure supply assurance

Job Requirement

• More than 15 years of working experience in supply chain field including minimum 5 years management experience
• Strong breadth in Materials management experience including Purchasing, Planning (Strategic & Tactical), Warehousing, Logistics and Manufacturing
• International supply chain experience
• Materials management experience in Engineer to Order, Build to Stock, Build to Order, Assemble to Order supply chain strategies
• Contract Manufacturing experience including contract management
• Experience leading a global team
• Experience with multiple million-dollar operating budgets and finances
