Company Overview 

Our client is an established manufacturing company in Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru. 

Job Responsibilities 

• Report to head of Finance. 

• To be responsible for financial statement and maintain fixed assets register, including depreciation schedules and reconciliations.

• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate audits and address audit queries effectively.

• To prepare tax returns (corporate tax, transfer pricing, withholding tax), perform accurate tax and deferred tax computation. 

• Perform accurate tax and deferred tax computations and ensure compliance with the Income Tax Act
• Monitor and manage changes in tax legislation and provide updates to the management team
• Assist in implementing process improvements for financial reporting and tax compliance.
• Ensure proper documentation and internal controls related to accounting and taxation

• To liaise with external auditors 

Job Requirements 

• Degree in Accounting. Professional certification ACCA or CPA.  

• 10 years experience in accounting and finance preferably with manufacturing experience. 

• Familiar with MPERs.
