Company and Job Overview

Our client is a prominent manufacturing plant in South-East Asia, specializing in a diverse range of electronic products. They are currently seeking an experienced Development Operational Engineer to join their team.
 

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out Europe, Pan Asia and Latin Digital Logo Conformance and WW Digital Broadcasting Testing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, develop and deliver new features for TV Product.

• Software defects management including detailed investigation, recreation, and analysis on broadcast software defects.

• Accountable for assigned project deliverables, including test reporting (progress, issues, etc) and test summary reports.

• Delivery of final test reports and documentation to obtain certification.

• Analyse broadcast requirements and work with team/technical experts in developing features and maintaining the Digital Test Suites or test cases.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/software engineering/computer engineering/computer science or related field or qualifications with significant relevant industrial experience.

• Possess strong English written and oral communication skills.

• Excellent skills in Software validation (Compliance Test, Functional Test, Performance Test, etc.) and verification.

• Possess skills or experience for Linux and one or more programming languages, preferably C/C or Java. (Kotlin is a plus)

• Able to work under pressure adaptable to different work priorities, multitasking and deliver task/project to tight deadlines.

• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of organization and external customers.

• Experience in defect management tools (e.g. JIRA) is a plus.

• Experience in Software Development & Testing and Digital Broadcasting (Cable, Terrestrial or Satellite) is a plus.

   

• Possess certification in software testing such as CTFL, CSTE or any technical domain is a plus.
