・The company is working to realize a "robot hand that thinks with its fingertips" by providing a "proximity sensor" developed by Keisuke Koyama, Assistant Professor at Osaka University's Graduate School of Engineering Science. Their proximity sensor is capable of advanced simultaneous measurement of distance and angle, and has evolved to the point where it can recognize both glass and mirrors.

・Overview of proximity sensors:
Proximity is a way of perceiving objects that differs from both sight and touch, and is considered a "sense not found in humans" because it is perceived without seeing or touching the object. The proximity sensor enables recognition of the shape of objects, including blind spots, as well as mirrored and transparent materials, through a unique sensing technology that simultaneously measures the position and shape of the object. Combined with the company's proprietary high-speed, high-precision AI technology, it enables flexible pickup according to the job site, which was considered difficult with conventional industrial robots, and also facilitates reduction of teaching burden.

[Job description]
The company has already launched a product utilizing proximity sensor technology on July 31, 2023, and is now looking to improve the product and develop new products. You will be in charge of AI development, which is the core of this product, and contribute to the further growth of the company.

[Required]
- Knowledge and experience of AI and firmware
- Circuit design experience or ability to read circuit design diagrams
- Experience implementing AI in hardware

Employment Type: Permanent
Trial period: 3months
Estimated annual income: ￥7~12M
Work location : Nara, Japan
Working hours: Flextime system (core time : 10:00-16:00) (break time : 12:00-13:00) (standard working hours : 8 hours)
