As a Lead Software Engineer, you will develop and maintain microservices using Golang and C++, guide junior developers, and ensure architectural standards are upheld. You will work closely with architects and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable backend solutions.

Description

• Collaborate with solution architects to understand and clarify business requirements
• Develop RESTful or event-driven microservices using Golang, C++, and Kafka
• Lead and mentor a small team of developers, driving technical discussions and code reviews
• Participate in sprint planning, solution design, and technical architecture meetings
• Monitor and improve software development practices to enhance quality and productivity

Job Offer

• Long-term renewable contract (initial 2 months, followed by 3-month renewals)
• Work hours: 9:00-17:30, Monday to Friday (weekends and holidays off)
• No Japanese language requirement

• Proven experinece in software development, especially with C++ and Golang
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, gRPC, Kafka, and container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with databases including Couchbase and MySQL
• Able to lead and mentor junior team members effectively
