A pioneering Japanese company in vacuum solutions is seeking a Field Service Engineer EMEA (m/f/d) in Munich.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, start-up and service our equipment and components

• Troubleshoot, analyze defects and repair our systems in the field

• Technical support in-house and onsite customers

• Sales Support for spare parts, components, service and special technical solutions

• Technical support for tests and special applications of our customers in the laboratories

• Preventive maintenance and addressing the challenges presented by our customers

• Train customers on our products

Job Requirements

• High technical competence i.e. Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or technician with 3-5 years of experience

• Experience in vacuum technology is an advantage. Also experience in plumbing, fluids and robotics is desirable

• Experience in troubleshooting and solving complex technical issues

• Knowledge of and an attitude for working on mechanical, computer, electrical, pneumatics and electro-mechanical control systems

• Well-organized, able to work in a team as well as independently

• Speaking English fluently and good interpersonal skills

• High flexibility, motivation and willing to travel within Europe and overseas regularly
