【Job Description】
As a data scientist, you will be responsible for the following tasks based on IoT sensor data and water quality analysis data:
・Performance evaluation and abnormality detection by analyzing operating data of water treatment equipment
・Development of quality estimation model based on water quality data (sensor + lab analysis)
・Development of predictive maintenance models to optimize equipment maintenance
・Design of reclaimed water usage trend and demand forecasting model
・Design and build data pipelines and dashboards (AWS, Redash)
・Collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams to propose improvements to equipment control algorithms

Required
・Experience in data analysis and machine learning using Python/R, etc.
・Experience in time series data analysis
・Experience in preprocessing and modeling of IoT/sensor data
・Data extraction and processing skills using SQL
・Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and water treatment equipment (any field is welcome)
Preferred
・Knowledge of water treatment, water analysis, and environmental engineering
・Experience with AWS and Treasure data
・Experience in building MLOps and data pipelines
・Experience working with embedded engineers and product development departments
・Experience in municipal or social infrastructure projects
・English conversation skills, or Japanese language skills for non-Japanese (N2 or above recommended)
