[Procurement Manager] Multinational Food & Beverage Company

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement activities for specific categories of raw materials.
• Analyze and forecast internal business needs, raw material markets, and environmental impacts to formulate a mid-term strategy for the assigned category.
• Based on the agreed strategy, create accurate and practical execution plans. Work closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure timely implementation. This includes identifying new suppliers and packaging, building strategic supplier relationships, negotiating contract terms, and conducting tenders.
• Lead cost-reduction and value-creation projects across departments.
• Report regularly on raw material costs, value, and cost-saving project progress through global and local scorecards.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree 

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
• At least 5 years of experience in strategic procurement or equivalent business experience
• Excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English 
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience using SAP (payment and delivery performance data) (preferred)
