PR/159108 | Quality & Reliability Engineer

An exciting opportunity to work with an expanding Swedish company based in Simpang Ampat as we are seeking an experienced and motivated Quality & Reliability Engineer to join their dynamic Quality team.

Job Descriptions

• Involve in new project and transfer project qualification activities.
• Responsible on Inspection Instruction preparation, first article inspection, capability study, measurement system analysis and PPAP packages.
• Provide training to quality technicians and inspectors on inspection methods and criteria.
• Coordinate nonconforming product control and failure analysis and follow-up corrective and improvement plan.
• Handle customer complaint and conduct failure analysis, follow up on customer corrective action and improvement plan.
• Coordinate RMA activities and sorting / rework activities with supplier and customer.
• Responsible for customer process audit, NPI qualification audit and customer system audit.
• Responsible on Engineering change order, coordinate purging activities and monitor on documentation revising.
• Responsible on supplier quality management.
• Responsible on the upkeep of operations, documentations and records related to reliability processes and laboratory.
• Define reliability requirement for Qualification including relevant process optimizations, design rules and production screening measurement.

• Perform failure analysis and risk assessments for qualifications / manufacturing quality / test failures / customer returns.

   

Job Requirements

• Possess at least bachelor's degree in engineering / technology        
• Required skill(s): Minitab, 8D report writing.
• Knowledge in QC core tools, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO  13485 and IATF16949 Quality Management system, GD&T, CMM measurement methodology, PPAP, FAI, CPK, MSA, FMEA, control plan and reliability test standards is essential.
• Familiarity in the usage of Microscope, Thermal chambers, Abrasion test machines, UV Test Chamber and other reliability test equipment’s.
• Able to work hands-on with equipment and experiments.
• At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in Quality Assurance function.
• Able to comprehend and interpret GD&T part drawings and technical instructions.
