PR/159041 | SENIOR NPI ENGINEER (NEW PLANT SETUP)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead trial production planning, conduct risk assessments, verify process parameters, and ensure readiness of equipment, tooling, and materials before production.
• Oversee trial production, follow APQP processes, ensure first-article verification, optimize production efficiency, and maintain key quality metrics.
• Detect design defects and process bottlenecks, optimize parameters through experiments (DOE).
• Coordinate with production, quality, logistics, and R&D teams, establish rapid response mechanisms, and ensure smooth material turnover and trial production cycle adherence.
• Lead product conversion acceptance, generate manufacturability reports, propose design optimizations, and standardize production manuals to enhance future efficiency.

• Implement corrective actions, improve tooling complexity, streamline processes, and support enhanced production efficiency.

   

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or equivalent.
• Have at least 5 years of experience as NPI / Product Launching role in Manufacturing Industry, experience in Automotive Industry would be added advantage.
• Experience in coordinating Production Trial Run and Ramp Up for Mass Production.
