Position Overview

As the Plant Director, you will report to the Plant Head (Japanese) and be responsible for leading the India manufacturing facility. You will ensure the production of high-quality cast automotive components while maintaining a safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversee Production, Maintenance, Quality, Safety, Supply Chain, and Human Resources.
• Ensure optimal resource allocation, budget management, and cost control to maximize efficiency.
• Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement across all processes.
• Uphold the highest standards in quality management systems (TS16949/IATF).
• Develop and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering; MBA preferred.
• 15–20 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of driving operational success.
• Expertise in die casting, lean manufacturing, and quality assurance.
