Key Responsibilities:

• Apply analytics to solve real-world business problems across various departments.

• Work alongside business engagement managers to understand departmental needs and deliver optimal analytics solutions.

• Develop and implement analytical models tailored to complex business requirements.

Analytics will include:

• Exploratory Data Analysis (e.g., correlation analysis)

• Prediction (e.g., sales forecasting, demand forecasting, visitor forecasting)

• Classification (e.g., customer segmentation, product categorization)

• Effectiveness measurement (e.g., impact analysis of business initiatives)

• Collect, clean, and preprocess data; perform feature engineering relevant to analysis.

• Contribute to other related tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Analyst.

• Experience in building statistical models.

• Strong data visualization skills.

• Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between business needs and analytical constraints.

• Native-level proficiency in Japanese.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in SQL, R, and/or Python.

• Experience working with large-scale datasets.

• Practical experience in machine learning model development.

• Experience in developing deep learning applications.

• Academic background in Information Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or Industrial Engineering (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD).

• Publications in international journals or conferences.

• Patent ownership.

• Practical experience in the retail industry.

• Business-level proficiency in English and/or Chinese
