Maintenance Technician Daily Japanese level OK

Job Summary

Our client, a leading facilities management company, is seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to support their equipment maintenance and repair operations. This role involves daily upkeep, troubleshooting, and ensuring proper functioning of various machines at client sites. A basic daily conversation level of Japanese is sufficient for this role. Former U.S. military personnel are especially welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, and repair a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment (e.g., HVAC systems, pumps, fans, office machinery, and light industrial machines)

• Perform preventative maintenance routines to reduce downtime and prolong equipment life

• Identify faults, perform diagnostics, and implement corrective actions efficiently

• Document all maintenance and repair work clearly and accurately

• Respond promptly to emergency repair needs at client facilities

• Collaborate with client representatives, vendors, and internal teams as necessary

• Follow all workplace safety standards and ensure work complies with local regulations

• Maintain tools, inventory, and a clean work environment

Requirements

• High school diploma, technical training, or equivalent hands-on experience

• Experience in maintenance, mechanical, or electrical repair work

• Ability to understand basic technical manuals and schematics

• Daily conversational level of Japanese is sufficient

• Physically fit and able to work in diverse environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification or formal training in HVAC, electrical systems, or mechanical repair

• Experience working in a facilities or property management environment

• U.S. military veterans are strongly encouraged to apply
