Financial Controller

This role offers the opportunity to lead the finance function in a global automotive technology company, overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic analysis. You will play a key role in supporting the company's growth in the mobility sector, with a focus on both accounting and FP&A.

Description

• Manage financial reporting, tax, and treasury operations.
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
• Prepare and submit financial statements and reports.
• Implement and monitor effective financial controls.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Work closely with the finance team to optimize financial processes.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making.

A successful Sr. Accountant should have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax, and treasury operations.
• Experience in the industrial / manufacturing sector.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficiency in English and Japanese languages.
