COMPANY OVERVIEW

 

A Major Japanese telecommunications and IT service provider, they are looking for an experienced network engineer for their Brussels, Belgium branch to expand their business.

TITLE

Senior Network Engineer

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1.Technical Skills

-Minimum CCNP level technical skills in routing and switching.
-More than 7 years of experience in troubleshooting as the final stage in a network with approximately 100 routers/switches.
-Experience in troubleshooting mission-critical network infrastructure is highly desirable.
-Actual field experience with configuration level is mandatory.

2.Issue Resolution
-Ability to fix issues locally and quickly, followed by Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

3.Project Experience
-More than 5 years of experience in infrastructure-related team projects. Successful candidate should have worked either with IT-infrastructure provider or with a large company which has an extensive IT-support department

4.Location
-Must reside close to the factory location to maintain a 30-minute on-site SLA. (Brussels/ Zaventem Area)
Need to support multiple locations across Europe, join projects for such as infrastructure renewal.

5.Language
-(Near) native or fluent Proficiency in the local language (i.e., French, Flemish a bonus) to communicate with local customers.
-Fluent Proficiency in English to communicate with customer
-Japanese language proficiency not necessary.
