• You will be responsible for managing the database infrastructure.
• You will be responsible for the design, construction, operation and maintenance, and monitoring of the database infrastructure on-premise and in the cloud.

• Design and construction of database infrastructure
• Operational maintenance and performance monitoring
• 24/7 operational support
• Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
• Security management 

Required skills and experience

• 3+ years of experience in operating and maintaining a Linux-based Oracle (or MariaDB/My SQL, Postgres) database server
• Proficient in Linux OS and shell scripts
• Ability to communicate in Japanese
• Ability to communicate via email or chat in English (regardless of experience)
• Ability to work in a multinational environment

Welcome skills and experience

• Experience with SQL tuning
• Expertise in Linux OS administration
• Experience with SAN storage administration (including PowerMax and Compellent)
• Familiarity with AWS cloud concepts or experience with CDK
• Advanced skills in Python and PHP
