Our client is a reputable multinational energy solution provider with a strong regional presence and focus on power plant services. As part of their business expansion into new energy segments, they are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Business Development Engineer with solid background in Thermal Power Plant systems to join their growing team. 
 

• Location to work: The Garden, Mid Valley Kuala Lumpur

Job Responsibilities: - 

• Analyze and respond to technical enquiries and specifications from vendors and customers

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the OOEM and CN products space

• Work closely with internal technical teams and group companies to evaluate project feasibility 

• Prepare technical proposals and provide engineering support to the Business Development Unit 

• Assess business and engineering risks and propose mitigation strategies 

• Coordinate with global offices and partners to support regional business expansion 

• Attend meetings, support site activities and travel domestically and internationally as required 

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical or related field) 

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in an engineering or technical role, preferably in Power Plant Systems, or OEM/ OOEM services 

• Strong understanding of Thermal Power generation systems and equipment 

• Ability to read technical drawings and conduct spare part checks 

• Self-motivated, proactive and capable of working independently 

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Willing to travel for business meetings or site support (locally and overseas)
