COMPANY OVERVIEW
Leading integrated telecommunications provider in Malaysia looking for Cloud Expert to be focused on their strategic alliance partners. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to help shape and take initiative to produce results in cloud platform across their partner community.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working with customers, sales, representative office professional services, solution architects and product teams to drive cloud adoption and migration projects.

• Conduct cloud adoption and application migration discovery workshops with the largest enterprise customers.

• Helping customer design and implement legacy application migration from on-premises or other cloud environment to Huawei Cloud.

• Identifying technical solutions to cloud migration obstacles while ensuring appropriate resources including training and support are available as required.

• Research and identify new opportunities for Huawei to innovate on behalf of our customers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS


 

• BS or Master in Computer Science, IT, IS, or equivalent areas

• 10+ years of IT experience as a technical specialist.

• 5+ years design/implementation/consulting experience of cloud adoption and migration of large Internet companies or large IT enterprises

• Azure, AWS, and GCP Public Cloud expert-level certifications preferred

• Experience and skills Needed 

• Be proficient in common cloud services. (computing, storage, network, database, middleware, container, big data, PaaS, AI, etc.)

• Have a deep understanding of the factors that need to be considered in cloud architecture design. (Cloud network, cloud high availability, scalability, security, etc.)

• Have a deep understanding of Cloud Migration Framework for PRA (Platform Readiness Analysis), ARA (Application Readiness Analysis), service pressure tests, service cutover, and service rollback.

• Have a deep understanding of applications in a certain industry domain, and be proficient in the business architecture and characteristics of the domain, such as core businesses in the government, public safety, finance, Internet, manufacturing, automobile, and retail industries.

• Have experience in consulting, planning, design, and implementation of large-scale cloud migration projects. Be able to provide cloud migration solutions based on customers' pain points.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service, with great documentation skills

• Ability to analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, and scope business requirements, deliver initiatives from conception through completion.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
