As a BD & Marketing Manager, you will work closely with partners and the BD team to drive strategic client development and marketing initiatives. This role combines hands-on execution-such as client targeting, pitch creation, and event planning-with team leadership and cross-functional collaboration. Description

• Partner with attorneys to plan and execute business development-related client meetings and business travel, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Conduct research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities to deepen existing client relationships, expand the client base, and increase external and internal visibility.
• Execute on targeted marketing initiatives including communications & social media strategies, client events and organizational affiliations.
• Develop customized pitches/RFPs, client presentations, and marketing materials.

• 7+ years of professional services BD and/or marketing experience; law firm experience highly preferred.
• Fluent in Japanese and English, with strong writing & communication skills.
• Excellent writing skills in both Japanese and English. Ability to focus written materials to ensure a strong impact on the targeted audience.
