Software Architect

Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Software Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing software solutions, particularly in the areas of REST APIs, data streaming, and cloud technologies. This role requires strong expertise in Java or Python, SQL databases, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred), along with a deep understanding of IT architecture and application migration from on-premise to cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust REST APIs to support various business functions.
• Architect and implement data streaming solutions to ensure real-time data processing and integration.
• Lead the development, deployment, and maintenance of software applications using Java and/or Python.
• Design and manage SQL databases to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and management.
• Provide architectural guidance and recommendations for cloud-based solutions, with a focus on AWS.
• Lead the migration of on-premise applications to cloud environments, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.
• Utilize deep knowledge of IT architecture to design scalable, secure, and high-performance software systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in designing and implementing REST APIs and data streaming solutions.
• Strong development skills in Java or Python, with a solid understanding of software deployment and maintenance processes.
• Proficiency in SQL databases, including database design, management, and optimization.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, with a preference for AWS.
• Experience in migrating applications from on-premise to cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of IT architecture principles and best practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
