Our client is inviting you to be part of their IT team in Tokyo and become an integral part of a global network. They are a leading company in the retail industry, committed to delivering top-quality IT infrastructure solutions to support operations across Japan and beyond.

The Role

• Provide first-line service desk support, investigating and resolving user incidents and requests.
• Configure, install, and maintain various hardware and software components across offices, stores, warehouses, factories, and more.
• Coordinate projects and operations with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and partners.
• Monitor and maintain the performance and security of computer systems and networks.
• Collaborate closely with the Japan Infrastructure team to align project roadmaps with corporate standards and policies.
• Drive innovation within the team by challenging conventional approaches to project delivery.
• Develop a deep understanding of ITIL principles, escalation flows, and the global organizational structure.

Your Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the IT industry, preferably with retail industry exposure
• Knowledge of Cisco Meraki technologies
• Proficiency in Windows Desktop OS, Server OS, and Cloud environments
• MCSA, CCNA, and ECMS 500-220 certifications
• Strong technical and logical problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to command respect and confidence (English and Japanese required)
• Ability to work independently and autonomously
