Principal Process Engineer - Tokyo【18M】

This role involves optimizing backplane IC processes (leakage current, MIM capacitors, etc.) within a cross-functional team, working with Fabs and internal engineers to improve yield and product quality.

Description

• Conduct detailed analysis of existing processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Design test wafer and perform process characterization to evaluate process performance and reliability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including analog IC designer, layout engineer, and architect to ensure seamless integration of optimized processes.
• Troubleshoot process issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize silicon backplane tape-out time.
• Implement process modifications and improvements to enhance yield, transconductance, and product quality.

• Educagtion in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
• 10+ year industry experience working as a process engineer.
• Experience with semiconductor fabrication equipment and processes, including photolithography, etching, deposition, and metrology.
• Fluency in English
• Japanese or Chinese language prefered
