Description

• Oversee the import logistics into Japan, ensuring compliance with local regulations and maintaining efficiency in customs processes.
• Manage comprehensive inventory control strategies to align with business forecasts and customer demand, enhancing inventory accuracy and turnover.
• Coordinate onward distribution strategies to customers, optimizing delivery schedules and routes for improved service levels.
• Lead the management of third-party logistics (3PL) providers, ensuring they meet performance standards for shipping accuracy, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and implement logistics policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency and minimize operational disruptions.
• Analyze logistics performance data to identify trends, resolve issues, and implement continuous improvements in the supply chain process.
• Facilitate effective communication across sales, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure a unified approach to meeting business objectives.
• Drive technology integration in logistics processes, enhancing data-driven decision-making and operational visibility.

• Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across functions.
• Demonstrate a proven track record in logistics or supply chain management, achieving measurable results.
• Have a deep understanding of supply chain processes, including shipping, importation, and logistics management.
• Be highly skilled in SAP;
• Business-level English; able to communicate with international teams.
