My client is seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to lead their team in Japan.



Client Details

The client is a leading multinational software company with a strong presence in Japan.

Description

  • Lead and manage the HR operations team, providing direction, guidance, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality HR services.
  • Oversee all aspects of HR operations, including but not limited to payroll administration, benefits administration, HRIS management, employee data management, and compliance.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and workflows to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR business partners, talent acquisition, and finance, to support the overall HR strategy and initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits administration, resolving any issues or discrepancies as needed.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts for HR services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and service quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR processes, systems, and service delivery, leveraging technology and best practices.
  • Stay abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations, proactively addressing compliance requirements and risks.

スキル・資格

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Fluency in Japanese and at least business-level proficiency in English, with excellent communication skills.
  • At least 7 years of HR operations experience in Japan, preferably in a multinational company with at least 500 employees.
  • Strong understanding of Japanese labor laws and regulations, with experience ensuring compliance in HR operations.
  • Proven people management experience, with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to thrive under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
  • Experience with HR shared services model is desirable but not mandatory.
