A US Based InsurTech firm, a leading provider of services mainly in the Telco & consumer electronics sector.

The Role

You will be a key member of the product and service development team. In this role, you will closely collaborate with the tech & development team, data scientists, and business operations team. This position is vital for contributing to business growth and improvements in the company's product line.

• Collaborate with product/service planning, sales, and business operations departments to propose necessary IT solutions to support planning and sales activities.
• Propose IT solutions to improve business operation KPIs, considering client needs, mobile telecommunications industry trends, and data.
• Act as the product owner after the release of products or services, verifying whether KPIs aligned with project goals are achieved.
• Evaluate feedback from the business departments and manage requests for further improvements and IT team requests for product quality enhancement.
• Lead communication with stakeholders to prioritize backlog items and establish execution plans.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create IT business cases, including defining IT solutions and scoping execution plans for project initiatives.
• Negotiate scope and define system requirements in conjunction with relevant business departments.
• Work with IT development leaders, UX teams, and data science teams to align on architecture and solution direction while finalizing requirements.
• Support technical analysts in creating user stories as per the defined requirements.
• Analyze project priorities, their impact on other initiatives, and assist the IT governance team in developing execution plans, proposing to relevant departments as needed.

Your Skills

• Cross-functional requirement definition experience along with end-user and data-driven thinking.
• High level of presentation skills and stakeholder engagement.
• 3+ years of experience as an IT Business consultant.
• Native Japanese & Business level English
• Ability to develop and improve products and services based on data analysis
• Experience in Agile development as a PM/PMO/BA & have experience in SDLC projects.
• Experience in creating user stories in English and collaborating with engineers
• Prior experience in dealing with the Telco sector is a plus.
