■Recruitment Background
In recent years, as AI and data utilization have become indispensable in all industries, there have been increasing challenges such as the inability to prepare sufficient data for AI training, the inability to build accurate and robust AI models, and the inability to collect and utilize confidential and personal data.
The company is engaged in research and development of privacy tech and secure AIOps technologies, including secret computation and federated learning, as an infrastructure for data and AI sharing to further expand the use of critical data in the industry and the use of AI, and to realize a rich data society so that data can be securely linked between companies. The company is looking for people who can work together to realize technologies and businesses that will revolutionize the way data is utilized.

■About this Position.
In this position, you will be responsible for developing systems related to AI and data utilization (secure data collection and management, AI model management and AI analysis, and other AIOps-related systems).
Since the company handles data from industries such as finance (banking and insurance), manufacturing (factories), logistics (warehouses), and retail, it is important to design and develop highly reliable and scalable cloud architectures. In particular, with customers in manufacturing and other industries, it is necessary to design and implement an overall architecture that includes distributed computing environments such as local facilities and IoT, as well as a scalable WebAPI design and implementation.

You will lead the process from technology selection to model development and implementation, in collaboration with project managers and engineers, for everything from implementation verification based on cutting-edge technologies and papers, to AI contract development projects tailored to the client, to the packaging of in-house original AI solutions, and more.

■Responsibilities
・Project-based AI development, implementation, maintenance, evaluation and verification
・Lead the technical aspects of the project, including proposal to the client and model development　
・Planning, development, implementation, maintenance, evaluation and verification of existing products (DataArmor ・Gate AI secret computation software for AI models)
・Project management and direction of in-house services
・Design of datasets in accordance with AI prerequisites/processing requirements/environmental conditions, etc.
・Design and implementation verification of AI algorithms based on original papers
・Research of related technologies
・Selection of technologies, research and development of new technologies, and product application
・Management of team members (AI engineers)

■About the company's Research & Development
In Research & Development, where you will be assigned, you will work with large companies on research and development of new technologies, data linkage, and technological verification (PoC) for the use of advanced AI. In addition, you will develop products that can be deployed universally based on the company's core technologies.
The organization consists of 5 AI Engineers, 7 Secure Computing Engineers, and 3 PMs.

■Future Approaches
You will focus on the following three points in order to utilize the data security technology for data utilization in a variety of industries.
①Pursuit of functionality towards product UX that is easy to implement and use even without knowing technical knowledge
②Web UI and application development to facilitate the experience of the world of technology
③Research and development to improve calculation cost and performance of secret calculation engine
To strengthen and deploy our core technologies, you will take on the challenge of research and development of new technologies that are not yet available in the world, such as joint research involving large companies, third-party product collaboration with platforms, secure data collaboration, analysis, and AI Ops areas.

■Required
・Experience in organizing and reviewing AI algorithms and approaches
・Experience in design, development, implementation, evaluation and verification of multiple algorithms or AI algorithms
・Master's degree in science or equivalent
・Ability to communicate with clients in Japanese

・Experience in developing consistent systems from requirements definition to implementation
・Experience in managing development resources (budget, progress, issues, quality)
・Experience working as a data scientist
・Experience in project leading

■Preferred (None of the following are mandatory, as long as all of the required skills are met)
・Experience in basic design of environment design and distributed processing architecture including edge/cloud of AI
・Experience in designing datasets that meet AI prerequisites/processing requirements/environmental conditions, etc.
・Knowledge and experience in analyzing high-dimensional and unstructured data such as image analysis and natural language processing
・Business level English proficiency
