【JOB DESCRIPTION 】

The Ameba iOS team develops and operates Ameba iOS applications that have been in operation for over 10 years.
Although the application has been in operation for over 10 years, they have responded flexibly to changes in design and other development trends, organizational changes, and product changes that have occurred during that time by making the following improvements and innovations.

Re-architecture from MVC to MVVM + CleanArchitecture
Replacement of Objective-C with Swift (currently about 93% replaced by Swift)
Introduction of Spindle, a proprietary design system, to new features
The Ameba iOS team has also developed a new technology strategy to make product development more productive and efficient than ever before. Based on this technology strategy, the team is working to balance the challenges of accelerating the development of Ameba applications with the development of new features to improve the experience of blog readers and writers.
They are also taking on the challenge of cross-platform development, and are in the process of introducing Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile to the Ameba iOS application.
They are also focusing on DevOps efforts, detecting non-crash defects and measuring and visualizing performance on both team/system axes.

【Experiences though this project】
Development on a large application with many users that has been in operation for more than 10 years
Design improvements and refactoring to keep the code in operation and productive

【Team Structure/Working Environment】
Currently, there are about 7 people working on iOS application development, and each member is involved in projects such as new feature development, etc. This is an environment where you can take on various roles such as specification development and analysis, as well as development, to ensure the success of the product beyond the scope of an iOS engineer.
In parallel with the project, you can also join the iOS/Android cross-functional technology strategy team and work on DevOps, Kotlin Multiplatform for Mobile, etc.

Deep understanding of Swift
Experience in user interface development using UIKit, CoreAnimation, etc.
