The company's main business area is a value-propositioned food e-commerce business, such as meal kits that meet the needs of busy customers, such as organic and specially cultivated fresh food, processed food with minimal additives, and other products that are safe and secure. In addition, they are solving social issues related to food through our business, such as wholesale of foodstuffs to nursery schools, consulting and media business using our e-commerce know-how, and mobile supermarkets that serve as infrastructure for living in depopulated areas.

■Team Mission
For EC sites, it is essential to provide a pleasant purchasing experience.
"Oisix," a regular food delivery service, was born in 2000 after much discussion about what kind of business would benefit society, and has now grown to become the largest food delivery EC service in Japan with more than 360,000 regular members (as of the end of January 2023).
In order to ensure that Oisix customers can use the service comfortably, the company provides a wide range of services, from eliminating the technical debt of existing systems to building a new system infrastructure to support business growth. They are looking for people who can work with them to define the "ideal" from the customer's point of view and respond to changes in the market.

■Responsibilities
(You will be assigned appropriate tasks based on your experience and orientation)
・Construction, requirement definition, design, and development of system infrastructure related to functional improvement of e-commerce sites.
　(e.g., development of functions that integrate with external services, development of new services for members, database load reduction, etc., batch processing performance improvement)
・Architecture design considering performance and scalability to ensure stable operation even during peak access times.
・Building a robust system to deliver to customers every week, and ensuring quality by automating code reviews and tests.
・Control of planning in team development, including team leading and self-management in development projects
・Making technical suggestions and improvement proposals to improve services in collaboration with other departments and teams

■Project Examples
You will work in a cross-professional project team. Participation by one or two back-end engineers, projects with a development period of about six months are the norm, or two or three months in the case of smaller projects.

【Required】
・3+ years of experience developing web applications (Java + Spring Boot)
・Experience in designing and developing cloud-based systems
・Experience using version control tools (Git)
・Knowledge and experience in designing, developing, and reviewing applications with an awareness of fault-tolerance and maintainability

【Preferred】
・Experience in system development of web systems (Java), examining and proposing architecture from scratch.
・Experience in development using Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot
・Experience in building build and deployment pipelines using CI tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, JUnit, etc.)
・Experience building applications using cloud computing (API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, etc.)
・Experience in designing, developing, and operating applications using container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
・Experience in improving development environments, etc.
