Mobile Application Technical Lead | モバイルアプリケーションテクニカルリード

In order to support the Digital transformation of our company, the Japan Tech team is looking for a Mobile Technical Lead who will help us increase our capacity to deliver value for our business and sustain the ambitions of our 3 divisions, while maintaining a state-of-the-art knowledge of new technologies.

Summary of position

Under the supervision of the Mobile Client Solutions Manager, the candidate will handle a portfolio of mobile applications for our 3 divisions, with a scope of responsibility covering both build and run activities. He/she will be involved in global initiatives and their localization, as well as local initiatives aimed at further enhancing customer/employee experiences. The candidate will take ownership of technical solutions and will work closely with our business teams to understand their challenges and deliver first-class mobile experiences.

Experience in modern iOS application development (Swift) and RESTful APIs is a must. This position involves hands-on development, system architecture planning, and support of external resources.

Qualifications
Must have:

• 7 to 10 years of experience in iOS application development (Swift and SwiftUI preferred)
• 3 to 5 years of experience developing or integrating with RESTful APIs
• 2 to 3 years of experience as a tech lead or lead developer.
• Good communication skills to explain, convince and eventually train others.
• Good verbal and written communication skills (fluent English, Business Japanese)
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-a-Service platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and OpenAPI (Swagger)

Nice to have:

• Japanese N1 or N2
• Prior experience with DevSecOps
• Prior technical experience in the following: Objective-C, Flutter (Dart), JavaScript (Ionic/Angular), Android (Kotlin)
