We are seeking someone with extensive HR/office management experience, including payroll, support with Visa applications, arranging health checks, coordinating with accounting firm to provide end of year tax notifications. This role requires flexibility and we are looking for someone who is willing to grow alongside our close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visa applications, Payroll, Health Checks, and end-of-year tax notifications coordination.
  • Company, finance administration, including managing all income and outgoing. This would include payroll, and all billing.
  • Oversee insurance, manage drone licenses, and orchestrate permissions for filming.
  • Other administrative duties, including insurance, drone licenses, permissions for filming.
  • Office management, including supplies and helping maintain an environment in which everyone is comfortable and enjoys working

The charm of this job
You would be working in an extremely diverse environment, with 11 nationalities, colleagues from age 20 to 50, at least two of whom have pink hair. Exceptionally good work environment - 100% of full-time employees report high job satisfaction. Leadership coaching available (via coachhub) for high-potential employees. Exceptionally flexible working - can work from home up to three days a week, can work overseas for up to one month per year etc. Split shifts are also possible. We would also consider part-timers, that is, working less than 8 hours per day.

Our international team (11 nationalities) has grown from two to 20 over the past four years as we find ourselves in the right place at the right time, with many Japanese corporations needing professional support with their international PR/communications to help them become truly 'global', and many overseas companies need production support in Japan.

スキル・資格

  • 5 years’ experience working in an office environment.
  • Advanced PC skills and willingness/interest in using the latest technologies, such as automation and AI, to develop more efficient systems
  • A desire to optimize the systems, used by a small company (20 employees by leveraging the latest technology, including tools, such as automation tools and database systems (Airtable).
  • Native Japanese language skills + business-level English language skills
  • Team player and flexible, kind attitude 
  • Ability to work independently 
  • A desire to help those around them
  • Able to work at least 3 days a week in our office in central Tokyo
  • Demonstrate tact and good judgment in confidential situations
  • Excellent communication skills with an open attitude
