Senior Civil/Structural Engineer/シニア土木/構造技術者

Purpose (Summary)

Incumbent is responsible to apply professional skills/experience to identify Customer’s and project requirements and design, develop and deliver the Civil/Structure engineering for industrial facility, oil and gas facility.

It includes basic engineering, proposal engineering, detail design and engineering, execution of project, such as control and coordination with Vendor/Subcontractor. Focusing on quality, economy, reliability, safety and sustainability of the structural works.

*Core Accountabilities / Responsibilities*

• Understand Client’s requirements and perform consistent Engineering and Design according to the project specificities and procedures
• Lead staff engineers in his or her group to execute the project
• Manage Engineering subcontractors to meet schedule / quality / cost requirements
• Responsible for technical matters, procedures, engineering/design deliverables and schedule/quality compliance
• Prepare reports on job progress/status on the assigned project.
• Carry out technical bid evaluations of vendors/subcontractors to ensure that quality and requirements are met.
• Clear and solve engineering issues.
• Identifying areas of concern during the course of any project and proactively take necessary corrective action

• プロジェクトを実行するために、グループのスタッフ エンジニアを率いる
• スケジュール、品質、コストの要件を満たすため、エンジニアリングの下請け業者を管理
• 技術的な問題、手順、エンジニアリング/設計の成果物、およびスケジュール/品質の遵守の責務を負う
• 割り当てられたプロジェクトの仕事の進捗状況に関するレポートの作成
• ベンダー/下請け業者の技術的な入札評価を実施して、品質と要件が守られていることを確認。
• 技術的な課題をクリアし、解決
• プロジェクトの過程で懸念される領域を特定し、必要な是正措置を積極的に行う

*Technical Knowledge / Skills / Competencies*

• Has knowledge and skills on Civil and/or Structural Engineering
• Knowledge, understanding and correct interpretation for Civil and/or Structure technical specifications, drawings, code and standards.
• Has understanding of EPC schedule and prepare detailed engineering schedule
• Has knowledge and skills to deal with Vendor/Material Supplier/Fabricator, to prepare requisition, review and evaluate proposal
• Has communication skills for coordination with other disciplines engineers (such as mechanical, process, E&I), Vendor’s engineer

*Qualifications / Certifications*

Essential:

• Knowledge about Civil and/or Structural Engineering

Preferred:

• Knowledge about international design code of Civil / Structural element, such as ACI, ASCE, AISC.
• Knowledge about oil & gas industrial practice
• Experienced with industrial facility, such as oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical plant, power station etc.

Minimum Years of Relevant Experience:

• Minimum 7 years experience in Civil and/or Structural Engineering

Differentiator:

• Has previous working experience on medium to large scale EPC projects in industrial facility, oil & gas facility.
• Has previous working experience on Green and/or Brownfield projects.

• 土木および/または構造エンジニアリングに関する知識とスキルを有する
• 土木および/または構造物の技術仕様書、図面、コード、基準に関する知識、理解、および正しい解釈を有する
• EPC スケジュールを理解し、詳細なエンジニアリング スケジュールを作成
• ベンダー/材料　サプライヤー/ファブリケーターと取引、要望書を作成、提案の検討および評価するための知識とスキルを有する
• 他の分野のエンジニア (機械、プロセス、E&I など)、ベンダーのエンジニアと調整するためのコミュニケーション スキルを有する

• チーム メンバーとの意思相通、情報共有を的確に行う
• 国際企業およびプロジェクト運営に関連する安全問題についての正しい知識を有する

歓迎条件

• ACI、ASCE、AISC などの土木/構造物の国際設計規約に関する知識を有す
• 石油・ガスの産業実務に関する知識
• 石油・ガス、石油化学、化学プラント、発電所などの産業施設での経験
• 産業施設、石油・ガス施設で中規模から大規模の EPC プロジェクトに携わった経験
• グリーンおよび/またはブラウンフィールド プロジェクトでの実務経験
