We are looking for a Designer for PUSHCODE, a service that makes it easy to implement "web push notifications".

The development of PUSHCODE was selected for a “Monozukuri grant”, and through joint development with VMware Tanzu Labs, we have an environment that provides hands-on experience with Lean Startup principles and Extreme Programming (XP) methodology.

Designers start by defining the "personas" in product development, conduct user interviews, share the learnings with the team, and create prototypes to test the assumptions that need to be tested next.

We believe that one of the most important roles of a designer is to find the "issues that really exist" for the "users that really exist". Once those two things are found, you share them with your team, and then you develop together, working towards the same goal.

[ Area of Responsibility and Job Description ]

◆User Research
You will design and execute a series of user research, from defining personas to conducting interviews, analyzing the results and sharing them. You will learn systematic user research techniques and tools, and contribute to the success of the product through the practice.

◆UI Design
You will design easy-to-use UI that takes user behavior into account. You will be responsible for creating designs that will be implemented in the product, from designing wireframes and screen transitions. You will also continue to improve the design by making adjustments based on user feedback.

• People who want to expand their career to UX design as well as UI design and web design.

Required skills

• Understand the basic concepts of user research in product development.
• 3+ years of experience in UI design or web design.

Working style

★Remote work
Currently, all employees are working remotely. Once the situation of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) infection settles down, we plan to allow employees to come to the office to work. You can also continue to work remotely and move outside the commuting area of the office.

★Flextime system
EDOCODE has a flextime system, so as long as you work during the core hours of 10:00 - 16:00, the rest of your time is free.

Applying from outside Japan

★Time zone
You must reside in an area where the time difference from Asia/Tokyo(UTC+09:00) is within 2 hours.

★Contract　
In principle, if you work while living outside Japan, the relationship is not an employment contract but an outsourcing contract. However, the way you are treated and interacted with in the company is exactly the same as that of an employee.

★Migration to Japan
We provide full support for foreign nationals moving to Japan to obtain their status of residence.
