Within the framework of enlarging our client base and increasing product penetration among our clients, you will be responsible for gaining new business through partner alliance with key market players. Moody’s Analytics sales force is organized to emphasize a team sales culture. Sales Specialists may call upon relationship managers and solutions specialists to assist in client relationship management, presenting products, benefits, and solutions to prospective clients.  As a sales specialist (Partnership), you will be expected to explore sales potential by leveraging the partnership and to resell our products through our partners’ channels. 

This sales specialist position requires expertise in managing complex, solution sales cycles, and involves working closely with internal stakeholders, partners, and clients. This position is a blend of active hunting for new business opportunities, existing partnership management, and new partnership development. 
 

  • Primary responsibility will be expanding new strategic partnership and strengthening existing partner relationship in order to support sales team to achieve its revenue growth goal.
  • Allaying with partners to demonstrate the superiority and value of the solutions involving Moody’s Analytics’ research, analytic tools, data to potential and existing clients. Provide training to partners’ sales and implementation team whenever applicable. This will often require close co-work with solution specialists and subject matter experts as well as coordination with overseas product and delivery team. 
  • Develop ability to identify sales opportunities for Moody’s Analytics by collecting best practices from regional and global sales teams and by engaging constructive discussions with partners.
  • Manage and coordinate Moody’s Analytics responses to requests via partners for information on products and services from external parties, clients and prospects. Regularly share updates on Moody’s Analytics’ various product developments and best practice to retain partners’ interest and to explore new areas for possible alliance. 
  • Cultivate deep, practical understanding of ongoing requirements to propose solutions integrating Moody’s Analytics products and services. 
  • Work closely in conjunction with other related sales colleagues, product and delivery team to ensure the partners and the customers satisfactions by clarifying questions and by solving issues.
  • Support delivery team in successfully maintaining partner relationship by communicating actively with partners. Organize meetings whenever required to bridge the gaps existing between Moody’s Analytics and partners.

スキル・資格

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Specialization not necessary but finance background helpful
  • Min of 5-8 years' sales and/or relationship management experience, preferably within the financial services sector. 
  • Proven track record of sales capability
  • A credit or capital markets background would be preferred but not required
  • Experience within the Japan market is a must and experience of working with large Japanese IT companies, major data providers would be preferred
  • Excellent relationship building, inter-personal and organizational skills are a prerequisite
  • Ability to identify opportunities with partners to cross-sell Moody’s products 
  • Ability to sell on a needs/solutions approach
  • Ability to establish strategic relationship with key market players
  • Ability to work independently while also demonstrating excellent team-working skills 
  • High level of commitment
  • Excellent communication skills, including listening skills
  • Familiar with modern computer applications (MS Office, Internet)
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Native Japanese (both verbal and written) is a must 
  • Proficiency in English (business level) and experience of working at MNCs is a strong plus
