Description / 仕事内容

The Process Engineer plays a critical role in production organization and acts as a technical resource for operations personnel by applying technical skills tooptimize plant operations, resolve plant problems, and enable safe and efficient production of low cost, quality products.

This role serves to maximize value to the Lithography Technologies business of E&I and the Sasakami site through their knowledge, skills and abilities. Understand customer needs deeply, optimize manufacturing process and management systems for safe, quality, flexible and reliable production. Responsible for part of plant KPIs and trends to ensure optimal performance. Responds urgently to emergencies and issues. Works and partners with operation teams operators, technical advisors, maintenance, production coordinator/scheduler, etc) and/or the experts to implement best practices and drive the change of the site.

Key job responsibilities / 責任の範囲

• Understand applicable process technology, equipment and control technology. Works with plant personnel to meet/exceed business and plant specific goals (safety, quality, reliability, cost, etc)
• Own part of plant specific KPIs and trends. Monitor, communicate, and drive improvement
• Implement and initiates change of specific EHS and operating discipline, and ensure relevant document are valid, standardized, and up to date.
• Understands and applies Statistical Process Control (SPC) skills and knowledge in manufacturing process, accountable for the manufacturing　quality performance of responsible products
• Assists troubleshooting of manufacturing processes and/or equipment, leads root cause investigation (RCI) and corrective/preventive actions implementation
• Be part of plant specific teams and work processes and contribute to the plant’s organizational and cultural change efforts.
• Network with other engineers and experts globally to leverage knowledge and best practices on plant operations.
• As required, assist communication and training of technical information and issues to plant personnel.

Requirement / 応募条件・資格

• 大卒以上
• 理工系学部卒の方（化学・機械系の方歓迎）
• 英語でコミュニケーションがとれる（メール、ビデオ会議等）

Preferred Qualifications / 歓迎するスキル・経験

• シックスシグマ、RCI、リーンなどの問題解決や継続的改善のスキルや経験
• 製造現場での実務経験（化学品業界）があればなお可
• SPCなどの統計・分析手法
• ISO9001、ISO14001、IATF16949の知識をお持ちの方
• 半導体、プロセスセーフティ、プロジェクトマネジメントのご経験をお持ちの方
