Resources Global Professionals (RGP) was founded in 1996 within a Big Four Accounting firm. In April of 1999, our CEO led a management buyout, and we went public in December of 2000. While our leaders are proud of our Big Four heritage, they had long envisioned a new kind of professional services firm.
Traditional consulting takes an “outside in” approach to helping business evaluating best practices, making recommendations and leaving implementation to clients. RGP pioneered an "inside out" approach, where consultants could work in partnership with leaders and their teams to transfer knowledge, build operational capability and drive change through all levels of the enterprise. Business leaders have been receptive to this way of working. Today, we service over 1,900 clients with more than 4,000 employees in over 70 offices in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. The Tokyo office opened in 2004.
