Job Title: NFR Developer-Power, Thermal & Performance

Location: Tokyo, Japan

Job Description:

 

  • Knowledge on Linux/Android Power management framework
  • Suspend/Resume, Runtime PM, CPU freq/Idle scaling governors, DVFS
  • Linux/Android BSP development experience
  • Ability to debug/analyze power issues using the Logic analyzer, Oscilloscope, Lauterbach Trace32
  • Knowledge on IP suite
  • Good understanding of Android/Linux memory management
  • Ability to analyze performance issues using systrace, Perfetto, and other profiling tools
  • Ability to optimize system performance via tuning parameters (low memory killer, Swap, Zram, etc)
  • Ability to understand python3 and shell/awk script
  • Linux Kernel development experience, device tree, and device drivers
  • Knowledge on Android framework, application architecture
  • Experience working on Qualcomm platforms
  • Issue tracking system: JIRA, Confluence
  • Source code management tools: Git/Gerrit/Repo
  • Android application framework knowledge is optional

The Japanese language is not required.
