Job Description

  • Preparing accounting entries for vendor invoices and GL (General Ledger) entries
  • Checking employee expenses along with travel & expense policy
  • Preparing payments (for vendor invoices, intercompany payments, employee expenses, withholding tax, etc.)
  • Taking physical inventory
  • Issuing invoices for external clients and intercomany.
  • Preparing Bank report and reconciliation (communicate with India cash application team)
  • preparing petty cash application form and reimbursement
  • Support for monthly/yearly closing and tax returns
  • Preparing cover letter for sending documents
  • Document filings
  • Attend finance team meeting and conference call
  • Other adhoc tasks

Minimum Education Level Bachelor's Degree
Visa Status Permission to work in Japan required

Required Skills

Qualification requirements

  • Understanding or being interesed in learning in International accounting(IFRS, US GAAP)
  • Excel Skills (vlookup, sumif, pivot table, etc.)
  • Communication skills
  • Able to work at least 3 days per week for long term (e.g. 3 months)

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in using ERP system (SAP, Oracle R12, etc.)
  • Japanese bookkeeping 2nd level
