Job Description

     As AXA continues its journey to enable first-class software engineering and operations, we are looking for multi-skilled / T-shaped cross-functional SFDC (salesforce.com) engineer who is communicative, adaptive, independent, and enthusiastic about solving challenges. You’ll have the opportunity to join the DevOps Guild community which leads the DevOps transformation and leverages cutting-edge tools, practices, and technologies to deliver faster, cheaper, stable, and secure cloud-based business applications with a superior customer experience and high-quality standard.
     You’ll work directly with development and operations teams to solve operational issues and create tools, processes, and systems that improve our overall operational reliability and resilience. You’ll be an ops engineer who can provide continuous integration, continuous delivery, handle incidents, and provide general platform support.

Specific Activities
======================
+[E1] Provide technical leadership to team members through coaching and mentorship. 
+Maintain high standards of operational quality within the team by establishing best practices.
+[E1] Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
+Develop CI/CD pipelines for pushing code into production.
+Production support responsibilities for platform fixes.
+Day-to-day operational support of continuous integration, continuous delivery, and source control tooling.
+Collaborate with software, infrastructure, network engineers, and DBAs to solve productivity challenges, drive efficiency, automate, and streamline platform builds.
+Build and maintain monitoring and alert configuration to detect, triage, and resolve issues quickly.
+Create Proof-of-Concepts using new technologies.
+Build tools to enhance production triage and improve detection and resolution time.
+Take charge of escalated outages, lead until they are resolved, and make sure the root cause has been found, fixed, and communicated.
+Liaise with Global counterparts to exchange knowledge and best practices.
+Suggest architectural improvements and recommend process improvements.
+Respect and practice DevOps culture to work effectively with software engineers, test engineers, and architects.
+Provide off-hours support for production applications.

Qualifications

The candidate must have the following minimum work experience and related degrees and certifications:
・5+ years administering cloud or infrastructure services across a large, diverse, enterprise environment
・3+ years in SFDC administration, including 1+ years in SFDC application development
・Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
・Salesforce Certifications: “Administrator”, [E1] “Advanced Administrator”

The candidate must be highly proficient in the following languages and tools:
・Programming/Salesforce: Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, Process Builder, and Flows
・Code Versioning: Git, Subversion
・Test automation plus continuous integration/ continuous delivery (CI/CD) using Salesforce DX, Selenium, and Jenkins

The candidate must have strong experience in and understanding of the following technologies and concepts:

・Experience supporting interfaces between multiple application platforms (i.e.: open and mainframe).

・Salesforce procedural development experience or have taken DEX-450 training (or Classic version of the course) and “Platform Developer I” certification
・Have taken other intermediary-level Salesforce courses and Certifications, and can demonstrate related experience
