Job Description

Operations & Logistics Manager is responsible for all related key metrics from, Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost. The candidate should take initiatives to deliver safe and secured working environment for the employees as well as company. Significant people management is included.

The candidate should take all initiatives related to cost reduction. Person needs to be always open and flexible to new and innovative ideas. The candidate needs to understand company goal/priority and support that. Person also needs to encourage/convince his team for that direction. Candidate will be responsible planning including investment on technology, system and machines.

General Requirements

Minimum Experience Level Over 6 years
Career Level Mid Career
Minimum English Level Business Level (Amount Used: English usage about 50%)
Minimum Japanese Level Fluent
Minimum Education Level Bachelor's Degree
Visa Status Permission to work in Japan required

Required Skills

  • 5-10 years of experience in logistics, operation, supply chain area.
  • Process/Production Management Skills in manufacturing area is preferred.
  • Negotiation skill for both internal and external vendors
  • Proven people management skills
  • Proven experience in driving high impact stories and managing reputation for companies 
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills in both English and Japanese.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
