[Global Firm / English Only! ] Cloud/DevOps Engineer

A Global IT Service firm is seeking a Cloud/DevOps Engineer who will collaborate closely with developers, stakeholders, and management to design strategic implementations, enhance existing systems, and champion best practices across the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of software applications and systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Join project planning and provide support for resolving technical issues and mitigating risks
- Manage infrastructure using an "Infrastructure as Code" (IaC)
- Provide comprehensive support to our customers and monitoring team through daily monitoring, troubleshooting complex, cross-organizational problems, and performance tuning
- Manage critical on-premises and public cloud data infrastructure, ensuring data integrity and high Service Level Agreement (SLA) adherence without business impact

Required Skills & Experience (DevOps):

• Strong background in DevOps, software, or system engineering

• Deep understanding of CI/CD and experience with automation tools (Jenkins, ArgoCD, FluxCD)

• Proficient in Python or Bash scripting

• Expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)

• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly GCP, including infrastructure provisioning (Terraform)

• Skilled in building and managing complex cloud infrastructure

• Knowledge of FOSS tools such as Hashicorp Vault, Redis, PostgreSQL

• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and on-call incident management experience
