Job Overview and Key Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibility is to understand customers’ needs and challenges and provide expertise and support to the field sales organization to successfully close solution sales.
This role is responsible for selling a comprehensive suite of services, including installation, help desk & managed services, maintenance & support, and software maintenance services.
You will develop winning approaches that emphasize NCR’s unique capabilities. Using a consultative approach, you will build strong, trustworthy customer relationships within accounts as a consistent source of expertise. You will explain solutions to clients from an ROI perspective.
Target global accounts at senior and executive levels, securing funding for future initiatives at the executive level.
Collaborate with multiple technical support resources and solution architects in creating proposals and delivery plans. Therefore, build successful working relationships with support teams to ensure smooth handovers and proactive identification and resolution of issues or challenges.
Responsibilities include identifying customer business needs and power structures, defining winning strategies, assessing NCR’s delivery capabilities, evaluating solution fit and identifying gaps, assessing risks and defining mitigation plans.
Determine regional impact (for multinational accounts), prepare proposals, establish bid/project teams as needed, develop bid strategies, determine terms and conditions (including pricing) with CS operations or other support teams, review proposals prior to submission, present proposals to internal bid review teams to obtain approvals as needed, and present proposals to customers.
Negotiate terms with customers within approved guidelines. Obtain legal approval from customers to execute approved contracts. Submit contracts to appropriate WFO F&A and service delivery teams. Ensure all service prerequisites are met.
Prepare win/loss reports and engage in post-sales activities. Act as an escalation point for deployment issues. Revisit projects and identify new opportunities to expand wallet share. Support Account Support Managers as needed. Engage in sales management activities. Conduct sales readiness activities (ARS). Maintain sales funnels.
Maintain a personal order allocation as part of assigned targets. This may include minimum individual allocations, shared allocations, and split allocations.
The role includes assignments in Japan and may require regular travel.
