Job Description:
Polymerize GK is seeking a talented and collaborative Materials Science Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our AI team to leverage advanced data-driven methodologies and the Polymerize platform to optimize the probability of combining ingredients for enhanced material performance, offering significant benefits to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Utilize materials science expertise to understand the properties and interactions of individual ingredients and their impact on material performance.
Conduct research and experimentation to validate and refine predictive models, ensuring accuracy and reliability in predicting material properties.
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate predictive models into the Polymerize platform, enabling clients to make informed decisions in materials selection and formulation.
Collaborate with the AI team to develop predictive models and algorithms for optimizing the combination of ingredients in polymer materials, leveraging data from the Polymerize platform.
Provide technical support and expertise to clients in understanding and utilizing the capabilities of the Polymerize platform for materials design and optimization.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's /Master's /PhD degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field.
Strong understanding of materials science principles and experience in materials characterization and analysis.
Good to have experience with programming languages such as Pythonand familiarity with AI and data analytics tools and platforms.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and with clients.
Language skill: Japanese - Native level, English - Business level
Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
Having experience in the polymer industry or materials research is a plus.
