We, the Innovation Development Office, are making a big impact on the world with our innovative startups and are looking for skilled engineers to develop the core software for services.

[Job Summary]

We are seeking an experienced SRE engineer or Cloud infrastructure engineer with extensive knowledge AWS.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing AWS architecture which can scale up with the business growth.
• Building flexible and reusable cloud infrastructure to support a variaty of startup businesses.
• Creating a system that enables real-time monitoring of service performance and errors to improve the service level of our services.

[Work Environment]

We prioritize software development efficiency and continually optimize our work environment for remote and cloud-based development. We also use advanced development cloud services, such as Slack, to improve the developer experience.

[Team] 

As a core member of the software development team, you will work closely with the CTO during the team's launch phase. We are looking for a leader who can build an SRE team from scratch and take a hands-on approach.

Required Skills

【MUST-have】

• Experience leading a team of several SRE members or cloud engineers (at least 3 years)
• Experience designing, implementaing and monitoring AWS-based systems which handle high traffic such as IoT or web services (at least 3 years)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technology for cloud infrastructure construction (at least 2 years)
• Excellent communication skills in Japanese and English (At least JLPT N2 level Japanese proficiency and English proficiency at least TOEIC 800 or CEFR B2 level)

【WANT】

• Experience working as a backend engineer.
• Experience building cloud infrastructure for machine learning platforms
• Experience building CI/CD processes considering service operation on advanced cloud platforms such as terraform or Kubernetes
• Experience building cloud infrastructure from scratch and successfully launching it as a commercial service.
