Responsibilities:
Act as a hands-on project lead of small teams to deliver quick solutions of value
Mentor junior developers and assist with team managerial tasks
Work both individually and with stakeholders in order to design and propose new initiatives
Perform R&D, ideation, and POC development
Manage project lifecycles from conception to delivery

Requirements:
Mandatory
People management and project management experience (at least 5 years managing at least 2-3 people)
Back-end development experience using Java and Python (at least 7 years)
Front-end development experience using frameworks such as Angular, React, and Spring Boot ( at least2 years)
Experience with Docker and setting up/using CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Nexus, etc.)
Experience with common development tools such as Git, Maven, Jira, and ConfluenceProficiency with SQL and database table design (MySQL, Sybase, etc.)
Business level English and Japanese language ability
Preferred
Agile project management skills
Experience working with AWS (S3, EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.)
Programming experience in other languages such as C#, C++, PHP, Pearl, etc.
Financial knowledge and/or experience working in a financial institution
Data science knowledge and experience
