アジア太平洋地域の日本向けプロジェクトマネージャーエデュケーションイベント&リレーションズ(100%)

次のような業務を担当します。

  1. AOのグローバル教育プロセスと教育ガイドラインに沿って、日本の外科医のリーダーシップと緊密に協力して、割り当てられた教育イベントを計画および管理する
  2. 与えられた期限内でのコースプログラムの策定において、コースチェアをサポートする
  3. コースチェアと緊密に連携し、講師と演者を特定して招待する
  4. 内部および外部の関係者と信頼できる協力関係を構築する
  5. 最高の教育品質とAOブランディング基準が達成されていることを確認する
  6. 地域マネージャーの財務計画と管理プロセスの確立と維持をサポートする
  7. 割り当てられたすべての教育イベントの予算を慎重に管理する
  8. 日本の外科医と関係を構築し、環境やニーズを理解することにより、ネットワークを構築する

Within our Global Networks Education Events & Relations team, we are looking for a highly-motivated project management specialist to be part of our APAC team based in Japan

Project Manager Education Events & Relations (100%) for Japan of region Asia Pacific (AP)

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Plan and manage assigned Educational Events in line with AO’s Global Education Processand Educational Guidelines in close collaboration with local surgeon leadership
  • Support the Course Chairs in the development of scientific programs to meet the givendeadlines
  • Identify and invite Faculty and Speakers in close collaboration with the Course Chairs
  • Develop reliable working relationships with all internal and external involved stakeholdersto enable strong engagement
  • Ensure highest educational quality and AO branding standards are achieved
  • Support Regional Managers establishing and maintaining financial planning and controlprocesses
  • Manage all assigned education events budgets with prudence
  • Develop local networks by engaging and building strong relationships with local surgeons toembrace the local environment and understand the local needs
  • Manage local AO governance, e.g., organize governance meetings, support communicationsto national societies and associations

General Requirements

Minimum Experience Level Over 6 years

Minimum Japanese Level Fluent
Minimum Education Level Bachelor's Degree
Visa Status Permission to work in Japan required

Required Skills

To master this challenge, you have:

  • A bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of five years professional project management experience in similar positions
  • Experience in medical education event/course organization would be an advantage
  • Proven experience in managing complex events with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in managing online or hybrid events
  • Excellent event problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organization, project and process management skills
  • High adaptability, flexibility, and attention to detail
  • Influencing and networking abilities
  • Familiarity within a cross-cultural/-discipline working environment
  • Excellent written and verbal Japanese and English communications skills is a must.
  • Be willing to travel
